HypnoBirthing can be of benefit at any stage of pregnancy and can enable you to have the best possible birth. It is never too early (or late!) to take classes. I’ve seen Moms as early as 16 weeks and as late as 36 weeks.
The goal is for you and your birth companion to have time to practice the techniques involved and build on your positive birth expectations. It is never too late to start and even a late introduction is better than nothing at all!

HypnoBirthing Classes in Austin, Tx
HypnoBirthing® childbirth method is as much a philosophy of birth as it is a technique for achieving a satisfying, relaxing, and stress-free method of birthing.
HypnoBirthing® childbirth classes teach expectant mothers to dispense with all their old beliefs about birth, how to trust their birthing body and work with it, as well as how to eliminate negative emotions that lead to pain-causing fear and unyielding muscles during labor and birth. HypnoBirthing® teaches the art of using natural birthing instincts and empowers women so they can create the birth they want.
HypnoBirthing® mothers are conversant and in good spirits while laboring and birthing their baby – totally relaxed, but fully in control.
HypnoBirthing® moms are aware of their body’s contractions but are able to determine the extent to which they feel the birthing surge. HypnoBirthing® mothers experience birthing in an atmosphere of calm and relaxation, without fear and tension that causes pain. Their body’s natural relaxant replaces the stress hormones that cause labor pain. HypnoBirthing® moms are aware of their laboring and birthing body and choose to surrender to the childbirth process. They are aware, in control, and profoundly relaxed.
How hypnobirthing Works.
Birth doesn’t need to be painful. Pain is a message to your brain to say something’s wrong and it needs to stop. If you broke your leg or burn your hand or there might be a stone in your in your shoe, you’ll get a message to your brain to say something’s wrong this hurts. Your brain signals that it needs to stop. This is the same if you are in Labor. Your muscles are contracting and expanding to help you baby and you get ready for birthing your baby. The questions is, why would there be a message to your brain to say this needs to stop because that would be completely counterproductive we need to birth our baby.
Labor is fueled by a hormone called oxytocin and that is our feel-good hormone. A chemical hormonal level to help you feel good and help our muscles to do their job perfectly. Most women experience pain because the brain was getting that message that something hurts. Now what commonly can happen is the uterus muscles which like any muscles in the body require a blood supply and Lots of oxygen to be able to do their job. If that blood supply gets reduced the muscles are going to start to struggle.
When we are about to birth our baby all the blood will go to the uterus in using a lovely breathing technique your breathing in oxygen in and it’s being sent to you as muscles, they will work as they’re designed to.
