My jouney as a doula began the day I found out I was pregnant. I was one of those women who loved being pregnant and I couldn’t wait to give birth. Sure I wanted to meet my baby, but I was just so excited to go through the rite of passage of giving birth. My son, Daniel was born in a hospital in 2002 and his birth left me wanting more! During those weeks in our baby moon, I realized that my journey in life is meant to be surrounded by babies being born. Becoming a doula just seemed to be the exact right fit for me. So my journey as a doula, birth advocate and breastfeding encourager began and I’ll forever be grateful for all the beautiful births I get to witness.
